7 min read · Updated 2026-10-28

Snow removal software costs anything from nothing to a few hundred dollars a month. As of October 2026, three of the 13 tools we checked have a free plan, the published paid entry plans run from $29.99 a month (CrewNest Pro and QuoteIQ Essentials, paid monthly) to $297 USD a month (LMN Starter, after an onboarding fee), and three publish no price at all.

We make Icey Software, one of the 13, so read this with that in mind. Every other tool’s price below is from its own pricing page, checked on October 28, 2026, and each row links to it. Where a vendor names its currency we show it; where it doesn’t, we show the number as listed. Prices change, so confirm before you buy.

Icey: Prices are in CAD; companies in the United States pay USD prices. Every paid tier: $119 CAD a month for 11–35 sites, $179 for 36–50, $279 for 51–100, $379 for 101–200 and $479 for 201–300, then $129 a month for each extra 100 above 300.

What drives the cost

  • Per user. Jobber, Housecall Pro and QuoteIQ price by plan and number of users, so the bill grows with your crew: Housecall Pro’s Max plan includes 8 users, then $35 USD a month for each extra user.
  • Per site or property. Yeti and Icey’s paid plans are priced by the number of sites, with unlimited users on Yeti and every driver included on Icey, so adding drivers doesn’t raise the bill. CrewTracker’s tiers follow your number of properties.
  • Per seat or licence. Aurora Suite charges a base monthly fee plus each active operator seat. LMN sells office and crew licences, and Service Autopilot includes a set number of app licences in each plan.
  • Company size. Aspire prices by company size and complexity, as one monthly licence fee with no limit on users.
  • One-time fees. LMN names a one-time onboarding fee, Service Autopilot a sign-up fee, and CrewTracker a one-time purchase fee; none of the three gives the amount on its pricing page. Icey has none, and its monthly plans have no contract.
  • Add-ons and plan gates. Yeti sells weather reporting as an add-on, LMN sells some modules as add-ons, Jobber puts routing and syncing with QuickBooks Online on its Connect plan and up, and Housecall Pro keeps route optimization and recurring service plans for Max. Icey has every feature on every plan, Free included.
  • Yearly or monthly. Jobber, Housecall Pro, Yeti and CrewNest cost less a month on a yearly plan, QuoteIQ’s yearly billing saves two months, and Service Autopilot’s listed prices are its annual subscription rates. Compare yearly prices with yearly prices and monthly with monthly.

How to work out your own number

  1. Count this winter’s sites or properties, and everyone who will use the app, in the office and on the crew.
  2. Price each tool on your shortlist at that size: the plan with the features you need, extra users or seats, and any add-ons.
  3. Ask for every one-time fee in writing: onboarding, sign-up or purchase.
  4. Compare the cost for the whole year, not an introductory price: discounts end, and a snow business may not need every month. Icey’s monthly plans have no contract, so you can cancel and be back on Free with nothing deleted.
  5. Run a real storm on a free plan or trial before you pay.
