4. Service trigger and response
Services begin when accumulation reaches (the “trigger depth”). Target response time after trigger or end of snowfall: . During extended storms, Contractor will service on a cycle.
5. Pricing
Client and Contractor agree to the structure checked below:
Per push: $ per visit, invoiced
Seasonal: $ for the term, payable . If total seasonal snowfall exceeds , additional events are billed at $ per visit.

6. Service records and documentation
Contractor will keep a dated record of each visit including services performed, de-icing material and approximate quantity applied, and (where available) photos and GPS timestamps. Records are available to Client on request and are retained for at least years.
7. Payment terms
Invoices are due within days. Late payments accrue % per month. Services may be suspended for accounts more than days past due, without waiving amounts owed.
8. Liability and insurance
Contractor maintains commercial general liability insurance of at least $ and automobile coverage for all service vehicles; certificates available on request. Contractor is not responsible for damage to obstacles not marked or disclosed (curbs, hydrants, irrigation, decorative surfaces), pre-existing surface damage, or conditions arising between service cycles, including refreeze after treatment. Client remains responsible for closing or restricting unsafe areas.
9. Exclusions
Unless checked in §2, this agreement excludes: roof snow, ice-dam removal, hauling off-site, and clearing behind parked vehicles or other obstructions present during service. Acts beyond Contractor’s control (ice storms exceeding equipment capability, supplier salt shortages, government travel bans) suspend performance obligations while they persist.
10. Cancellation
Either party may cancel with days’ written notice. On cancellation of a seasonal agreement, charges are reconciled pro-rata based on .
11. Entire agreement
This document and its attachments are the entire agreement and supersede prior discussions. Amendments must be in writing and signed by both parties.
